Jury Talk

Joining Jury Talk  is a helpful way to help attorneys get ready for an upcoming legal trial! Many of the mock trials are presenting in an in-person focus group format while others bring together individuals from all other the country via the Internet. By participating in these focus groups and occasional online surveys, you will assist lawyers in better understanding juror behaviors, public attitudes and issues relating the the upcoming trial.

Jury Talk is an arm of the Wilmington Research Institute, a nationally recognized trail and settlement psychology firm. Serving on mock juries and related online surveys at Jury Talk helps attorneys gather important information about the turn of events an actual case might go through before it heads to trial. Instead of a normal trial that uses a 12-person jury, Jury Talk convenes much larger groups of individuals to gather feedback that will aid in better negotiating settlements, picking real juries, uncovering  undiscovered legal arguments and more.

To be a member of Jury talk, you typically must meet the requirements to be on a real jury including being a US resident, being 18 or older, not having a felony and the other standard rules (check Website for details). Signing up is easy, you just fill out your contact information and, upon approval, you will be ready to start taking free surveys and serving on these "pretend" juries. You may receive incentives for participating in focus groups, mock juries and taking online surveys at Jury Talk; the specific rewards for each project are detailed at the start.
